Grosche is a values based, family-owned and operated brand on a mission: Every Cup Fills Another, where every product sold provides 50+ days of safe water for people in need, through their Safe Water Project and 1 Million Days of Safe Water Campaign!
Starting out in 2010, they have since provided 138, 000, 000+ days with over 2,000 filters installed (and counting) of clean, safe drinking water in six countries so far, including South Sudan, Uganda, Malawi, India, Pakistan, and The Philippines.
Creating Local Employment & Skills
Their filters are easy to make locally, and do not rely on electricity, chemicals or fuels to work, which make them ideally suited to purify water in the most remote and poor areas that have unsafe water. With easy and proper maintenance, these filters can last up to 30 years, and removes harmful bacteria to provide safe drinking water for up to a family of 10.
Grosche does their best to produce products that can be recycled at their end of life in municipal recycling streams. However, if you have a product that cannot be accepted at the end of its life, contact them to send the product directly. They will be happy to appropriately recycle it through their facilities segregated recycling program.
They take products back that are new and unused, even unwanted gifts or have minor packaging blemishes. From time to time these are sold as refurbished products at a discounted price, extending product life and keeping waste out of landfills.
Grosche is a Social Enterprise and a Certified B Corp, partnered with Carbonfree and Living Wage, where focus is placed on their mission to make the world a better place.
